The Global Dev Study #1 - What, Why and How for Micro Frontends

Summary

Frontend development has become increasingly popular and important. Fast and high quality front end development is crucial for most innovative products and services. We would like to introduce the concept of “Micro Frontends” to you all! The idea behind Micro Frontends is to think about a modern website or web app as a composition of features which are owned by independent teams. Each team has a distinct area of business or mission in which they specialize in. A team is cross functional and develops its features end-to-end, from database to user interface.
